Life after death what esotericists say. Do the dead see us after death?

The inevitable death of the physical body is not the most frightening thought for many people compared to the idea of the complete extinction of the mind and spirit.

As for the energy potential, a person’s aura undergoes significant changes after death, but irreversible changes in the biofield can be noticed even before death. Most esotericists and magicians have their own views on the transformation of life force due to death, in addition, this is also the question of the scientific community.

Human bioenergy before death

A long-known fact, proven by American researchers, says that after death the physical shell becomes 4-6 grams lighter, which indicates the departure of a subtle substance or soul from the dead body. According to other sources, the body loses about 21 grams.

Indeed, at the moment of a person’s transition to another world, energy bursts occur, and this has been recorded by doctors using various equipment many times. True, not all vital energy comes out, because part of it remains to complete physical decay. It is the initial impulse of energy release that helps the soul escape from the body shell. But it has not yet been established exactly what happens on the mental level at this time.

In essence, death is the completion of an individual’s life program.

The soul begins to separate from the material world and reaches another level, energetic. In general, in the subtle worlds there is no concept of death; the transformation of the soul - its acceptance of new high energies - occurs naturally, gradually. At the same time, the physical plane records the death of a person as an instantaneous event, and at energy levels, changes in the biofield are carried out in advance. We can say that the individual’s aura prepares the person’s entire consciousness for departure. The most radical changes in energy occur a few minutes before the subject's death.

Modern psychics have still not come to a consensus on what the aura of death looks like. In this regard, it is advisable to highlight several points of view regarding changes in the human biofield due to death:

  • Before death, the thin shell ceases to exist completely or forms a darkened pillar above the top of the person’s head. This happens because free space is created for the soul to exit.
  • A few weeks before death, the aura begins to weaken and fade. Seven days before a person leaves, an expansion of the biofield is observed. The ethereal shell suddenly acquires a spectacular heavenly bluish tint, while silvery sparks fly in the density of the aura.
  • On the eve of departure to another world, from the point of view of supporters of Qi energy, a stream of gray tint forms around the individual’s head. This is the Qi of death, which is associated with ashes and gives the face itself an unpleasant color. Such dead energy stops moving 3 days before death.
Sometimes gray smoke begins to smoke overhead. Interestingly, the aura changes in this way even the day before unexpected death as a result of an accident or natural disaster. The entire biofield becomes dark, the spot in the forehead area seems especially saturated. This means that the third eye loses light energy and becomes covered with a gray coating.
  • With doomed human illnesses, the aura gradually fades. It can disappear even before the death of the physical shell, if the illness has drained the individual’s strength for a very long time. In the case of unexpected deaths, the biofield, on the contrary, persists for some time after the clinical death of the body.
  • The most striking change in the aura concerns the destruction of the so-called silver thread. Some esotericists call this cord a ray of light that connects the astral and physical shells. This element ceases to exist after the death of the individual; it breaks the connection with the material world.

Changes in the soul and aura after the death of an individual

For most esotericists, the fact that the etheric body cannot exist without a physical shell is quite obvious. The thin shell cannot live without energy supplies, therefore, 1.5 months after the death of the individual, it disappears into oblivion.

The loss of energy from the aura occurs gradually: first, the perception of the environment changes, then communication is allowed only with other people's ethereal shells. At the same time, the subtle body continues to see the physical bodies around and be aware of the world.

There is an opinion that in a month and a half, the etheric shell of a dead person is able to find another human (or simply living) organism in order to remain on earth after the next energy saturation.

If the energy is completely lost, the person’s aura will turn into a shapeless shadow in 3D format. It will be a simple electromagnetic clot moving at the speed of light.

Human energy after death, from the position of most esotericists, dissolves gradually. The soul begins to ascend to a better world, and the thin shells of the biofield that previously surrounded the body disintegrate. After three days, the etheric energy leaves, after nine - the astral, and after forty days - the mental. All these are temporary layers of the aura that the soul does not need. But there are also four higher layers of the biofield that are preserved during any rebirth.

In the subtle worlds, the soul does not require additional energy, but until the shells are destroyed, it still needs help to ascend to a high level. This support for the soul is provided by living people through religious rituals.

During its flight, the soul reaches both the astral and mental shells, and they immediately retreat. True, such a path lies before ordinary individuals, while special messengers, spiritual gurus and psychics immediately disappear from the earthly layers after death. Their biofield is destroyed instantly, lower-order energy disintegrates immediately, and high energy pulls them upward.

Another version of the development of the posthumous aura says that the etheric shell is destroyed on the 9th day, the astral shell on the 40th, and the mental body dies only after 90 days. After this, the individual’s body forever loses the glow around it. The death of the aura occurs from the bottom up, since it is in the lower part of the body that the earthly shells are located. At the same time, the highest subtle body does not succumb to death; it lives in the form of a spirit or passes into another body. From the point of view of reincarnation, such creatures are capable of eternal rebirth and constant spiritual development.

Proponents of the theory of energy chakras believe that the individual’s soul leaves the body with the help of the main centers. For example, a carrier of information from a parallel world releases the soul through the 5th chakra, just as those rare people who are distinguished by supernatural abilities are representatives of new races. The aura of such individuals can be crystalline, snow-white, violet or indigo shades.

An ordinary person says goodbye to his soul through the 7th chakra, i.e. crown, with the support of a guardian angel. And if the soul embodied destructive dark forces during life, it will be sent to the exit through the third energy center.

Where does a person’s energy disappear after death, taking into account the path of the soul’s movement? In the first three days, all the strength glows near the body. At this moment, the soul collects information accumulated during life, and also stabilizes the psycho-emotional background of the body in order to calmly separate from the individual. Then the soul goes into the noosphere, to other worlds in which there are no concepts of time and space.

A person’s energy is restored in his soul, but if too much negative baggage is retained after death, the soul goes into the isosphere.

But this will not happen with timely repentance of sins before death.

Three days later the body is buried. By that time, the soul had already passed the necessary filters to depart to a better world. But a certain amount of energy is still retained in the cells; this is muscle memory, a rudimentary form of biological life. If the body takes too much energy for itself, the soul itself lacks it and it freezes. She expects to be replenished with energy from other souls.

After this, by the third day, a phantom is formed - an etheric double of the physical shell, which will last 40 days.

This etheric body calmly communicates with a person’s family; it is often confused with a ghost. The ethereal double is fueled by the memory of relatives of the deceased. When it gains a lot of energy, the moment comes for it to go into the isosphere. But after the energy runs out again, the double from the ether will return to collect negative currents in the dreams of living people.

In this way, the shell cleanses its soul for its further movement to better worlds. The etheric double is extremely pure and spiritual in its essence; it waits for the soul to reach the noosphere, and also fulfills those goals and tasks that were not realized by the subject during life. The state of the ethereal shell demonstrates the quality of the individual’s activity during life. By the way, the double senses death in advance, he warns the soul.

By the 40th day the soul is ready to ascend to higher planes. She comes to say goodbye to the dead man's loved ones. At this moment, the ethereal phantom gives up all its stored energy to the soul and merges with it. If the strength is still not enough, the soul wanders the earth for 13 days.

Where does a person’s energy go after the death of his etheric double? Together with the soul, it enters the noosphere at night. If a person has unfinished business on earth, the soul remains on the first four time planes of the noosphere. Its energy remains there, taken first from the human body and then from the etheric shell. Then you need to go to purgatory. There the compression of accumulated energy and information blocks occurs.

It takes the soul different times to go through such filters, depending on its readiness.

This process may slow down due to low energy levels and loss of information.

There is a version that all human energy shells weigh 25 grams. First, subtle energies leave the physical body after death. The decomposition of the body begins. Next, the etheric body leaves the person. This is raw energy, it can appear in a cemetery, or be identified with a ghost or soul. According to many esotericists, this is simply an energy shadow from the body. It dissipates in the air after 9 days.

The released energy of consciousness is sent further. Where? Some believe that in the so-called emotional world. This level corresponds to the second layer of the aura. This is the space of desires fulfilled only in the mental world. Consciousness at the emotional level does not hang for long. After 10-40 days there is a departure to the mental world.

If the transition time is extended, we are talking about a highly spiritual person, practically a saint. When moving to another world, the energy of the emotional body is retained for a certain moment; it retains a piece of the soul. The same energy is attracted by the memories of the dead person’s relatives. Such forms of a thin shell often respond to spiritualistic séances, but they do not know about the afterlife. As for the true energy of the soul, by that time it has already gone very far.

Scientific community research

Currently, in our country, a physicist from St. Petersburg, Konstantin Korotkov, is studying the development of the aura after the death of an individual. He compares the glow of living and dead objects in an electromagnetic field using gas discharge imaging.

In his study, Korotkov studied the bodies of different sexes between the ages of 19 and 70. Initially, the team, in their experiments in the morgue, assumed that the aura of dead people was equal to the biofield of an inanimate object. But observation showed that the energy of the dead man does not change only in the first 2-3 days, and then suddenly decreases to the background value. At the same time, it has been proven that the subject’s aura after the death of the physical body behaves differently, in accordance with the type of death.

An unexpected departure to the next world leads to a real protest of the biofield within two days. The graphs record powerful electromagnetic oscillations. In the case of expected and natural deaths, the aura does not show excessive activity and easily says goodbye to the earth’s shell, maintaining a uniform and constant glow at first.

An interesting conclusion obtained from studying the aura was the bright daily fluctuations that reach their strength at midnight. It can be concluded that the aura of a deceased person is most active at night, while observers feel prying eyes on themselves and feel someone’s presence. Consequently, a person’s energy, after leaving the physical shell, retains its power.

Using a gas-discharge chamber, Korotkov’s team managed to film a person before death, at the moment of death, and 3 hours after physically leaving the world. From the photographs it became clear that the exit of the soul from the body is accompanied by a change in color in the aura. Blue shades have become warmer.

In this case, initially the changes concern the abdominal area, then the head. A deceased person retains an aura in the area of the heart and groin. After 3 hours, the biofield leaves the heart too. And then the blue color completely ceases to surround the individual, and in the photo you can only notice a cold red silhouette: this is a body without a soul.

Thus, people who die naturally continue to illuminate intensely for the first 16-55 hours after their death. In case of sudden death, which could not be avoided, aura activity was observed for the first eight hours following death, which was repeated only at the end of the first day of death. After 2 days, the glow returned to background values. But if a person could not have died, if his death was an absurd accident, the aura glows and fluctuates with maximum intensity for all two days.

The biofield of a dead person resembles the aura of an individual with upset energy. There is some depression, defects in structure and density.

The aura of a person after death allows us to answer the question about the possibility of rebirth. The evidence of psychics is confirmed by scientific experiments, which means that it is possible to predict the death of an individual using the biofield in advance, and later determine the nature of death. Despite the different positions of esotericists regarding the further path of the subject’s energy, we can draw a general conclusion that after the collapse of the physical shell, energy from the body enters the soul and, together with it, is sent to the higher subtle layers around the planet.

While a person is alive, his consciousness is in the body, and in many ways identifies himself with it. The body is the densest plane of all the planes of the human soul, therefore physical sensations are most obvious to the psyche. After death, the soul loses contact with the body, and moves from the world of physical sensations to. In this world, consciousness is not limited by dense reality; everything happens here at once. Any thought is immediately realized, any emotion acquires the brightest color.

The state of the soul after death largely depends on how a person thought during life and how harmonious the relationship between his inner “I” and the external world was. Anyone whose mind is accustomed to rushing during life will be restless even after death. Therefore, many Eastern teachings practice meditation and guide one to inner peace.

The presence of internal conflicts traps the soul on the astral level until these conflicts are resolved. Everything that a person did not have time to rethink during life, he rethinks after it.

According to Greek mythology, after death the soul enters the underworld of Hades, the god of the dead. The Slavs called it Navya - the subtle world of the departed. And in Christianity this world is called purgatory, where the soul awaits purification before it continues its further path.

The astral level to which the soul falls after death is the emotional-mental world. What consciousness encounters here, the shadows and demons of the afterlife, described in the myths of antiquity, are the personal shadows and demons of a person’s consciousness, which in the earthly world were hidden in the depths of the individual’s subconscious.

In the subtle world, the protective mechanisms of the psyche stop working, and consciousness encounters its own “I” in all its manifestations. All actions, thoughts and words that went against conscience are reviewed by the soul again and again until repentance occurs. Habits and thirsts, resentments and fears will follow her like a shadow and torment her until she herself lets them go.

After final liberation from the hardships of earthly life, the soul continues its journey. The mental and emotional bodies of the soul dissipate, and the immortal part goes to the higher spiritual world. There are no thoughts or emotions in this world. It is like the pure light of unconditional love, without divisions into polarities, without personal assessments of reality. Buddhists strive to comprehend this state while still alive and call it nirvana - a state of peace of consciousness, the essence of which is freedom from suffering.

However, the journey of the soul does not end there. Next, a new incarnation awaits her. A soul that needs additional earthly experience will receive a new birth in the world of earthly nature. The soul, having learned all the necessary lessons of earthly existence, moves to the worlds of higher spheres. Such highly developed souls who stop the circle of earthly rebirths after physical death can be the souls of great teachers and saints, the souls of small children, but also the souls of many of those who pass their spiritual path unnoticed by the eyes of others.

Death is only realized by those lives that are self-aware, and is sadly misunderstood only by human beings.

What is there behind the veil, if there is another life or everything ends here? These eternal questions are asked by millions of generations of people, and each of them receives exactly the answer that is worthy of his level of awareness of eternity. For some, death is the end of everything, but for others it is just another stage in their personal evolution. Death for most people, regardless of their worldview, is simply an inexplicable phenomenon that brazenly invades their personal lives and destroys all their plans for the future.

What is death? And why is the overwhelming majority of people so terrified of death that they are ready to do anything to delay it even for an hour. What is the reason for such primal fear? There are two main reasons, although Alice A. Bailey in her treatise “On the Seven Rays” indicates as many as seven of them, but still I would classify only two of them as the main ones, because they are inherent in the vast majority of the inhabitants of planet Earth. The first and main one is the horror of the unknown and uncertain that awaits us after death. More than one mortal has not yet returned from behind the veil of death, and this unknown frightens us. And the second is that we identify ourselves with this physical body.

The loss of our physical body gives us an animal fear that along with the body we will lose our individuality and cease to exist as individuals. What we have saved with such difficulty all our lives can disappear for us in one moment. The fear of this loss makes us cling so vainly to our worthless life. Our fear of death is generated by our terrifying ignorance, our complete ignorance of the truth that death hides. This happens because most people consider themselves to be the external body that they possess and therefore think that with the destruction of this physical body they will also cease to exist. Many, knowing the beginning and seeing only one end, live their lives aimlessly, wasting years on trifles and wasting incredible energy on accumulating illusory and unnecessary values.

Death will inspire its ancient horror in such people as long as their consciousness identifies itself with this body. But as soon as we realize that we are a soul, we will understand: that there is no death, there is only a temporary transition to another plane of existence in the process of the eternal evolution of our soul. Alice A. Bailey, in her treatise on the seven rays, writes; “Death occurs for a specific person, in the usual sense of the word, when the will to live leaves the physical body and the will to separate takes its place.” I completely agree with this interpretation of death, although I admit that it cannot be one hundred percent suitable for all cases of death. After all, there are also cases of sudden death, when the will to live is still quite strong, but here completely different karmic laws are already in effect, very difficult to understand due to the fact that we do not know the reasons for their action. As a rule, these reasons are hidden in past lives and are inaccessible to the understanding of the vast majority of people, so such deaths seem unfair to them. Although the law of karma is absolute and fair, even if a three-year-old child is killed, no matter how cruel it may sound, he deserves it.

Death remains the same inevitable truth now as before. She stands behind each of us, and no one can escape from her or escape her cold breath. Death is the reverse process of birth. Birth is the embodiment of consciousness, death is its disembodiment, but in both cases consciousness passes from one state to another. Having barely been born, we are already condemned to die, for birth is the first step towards death. The movement towards death is inexorable. It never stops. We begin to die from the moment we are born. There was one question I liked to ask people back in the day; “What is the cause of death of all living beings”? The majority named the generally accepted reasons, old age, illness, accidents and the like, and only a small minority could give the correct answer. Although the answer itself is so obvious that it lies on the surface and when I named it, all people agreed with it and were amazed how they themselves had not thought of it. The answer itself is very simple; "The cause of death is birth."

After all, no one will argue with the first obvious fact that we were all born, as well as with the other obvious fact that we will all eventually die someday. These two things are obvious to all people, regardless of their age, race, religion, everything else can change. Only birth and death will remain unchanged as long as humanity exists. Perhaps these concepts will soon acquire different meanings, but people will still be born and die. In one of the most ancient religious treatises, Bhagavad Gita (chapter 2, art. 27) it is written; “He who is born will certainly die, and after death he will certainly be born again. Therefore, one should not indulge in grief while performing one’s duty.”

For the vast majority of people, consciousness is blocked at the moment of their transition, that is, they cease to remember their past incarnations. Their life experience does not disappear, but it moves from the area of the conscious to the area of the subconscious, and in a new incarnation it begins to be realized at the level of instincts and talents. Only a few of the adepts can consciously maintain clarity of mind at the moment of transition - this is true immortality. This is exactly how Don Juan the magician and sorcerer describes real immortality from the books of the famous mystic Carlos Castaneda. Trying to make the physical body immortal is absolute stupidity; you cannot stop the flow of time. Maintain clarity of consciousness at the moment of transition, and you will become truly immortal. It was precisely this kind of immortality that the greatest initiates of the earth strove for. For those who, while still alive, have unraveled the mystery of death for themselves, conscious dying is an Initiation, which gives the ability in further existence to consciously control the processes of Birth (manifestation) and Death (disembodiment).

There are a lot of legends about the so-called “immortality pills,” although you yourself understand perfectly well that a physical immortality pill does not exist in nature. In Laya Yoga there are teachings called “kaya kalpa” and “rasayana” that help yogis preserve the life of their physical body for many years and even millennia, but they still cannot make them immortal. According to the teachings of the Taoist sages, true immortality consists in melting the “immortality pill” within oneself, that is, maintaining clarity of consciousness at the moment of death. The famous Tibetan treatise “Bardo Tedol” or as it is also called “Tibetan Book of the Dead” can help you with this. There are also more ancient sources on the rules of dying, for example, the Egyptian Book of the Dead. True, they are all written in esoteric language and for the most part will be incomprehensible to the majority of readers. Yes, this is not required of them, for they were written for the elite, for those who wanted to understand the essence of death. Most people deliberately avoid talking about death because the mention of death evokes in them real feelings of their own demise. It seems to them that by talking about death, they are bringing their own death closer - this is, of course, stupidity. Talking about death does not bring your death closer, but it does make it clearer - that's a fact.

Modern science knows quite a lot about the processes associated with dying, but it still cannot give an answer: what happens to our consciousness after the death of the physical body? The moment when most of the body’s functions cease to be measured by instruments is usually called the “moment of Death,” but this applies only to the physical body, but what happens to our soul at this moment? Dr. Raymond Moody's book, Life After Life, attempts to answer this question. It describes enough post-mortem experiences to make most readers think about it.

Now let's talk a little about death itself. There are several signs of imminent death, they are of two types, psychological and physical, all of them are quite well described in books such as “Zhud-Shi”, “Bardo Tedol”, “The Art of Dying”. We will consider only those that most people can identify. Let's start with the most important psychological thing - the lack of desire to live. The process of death is controlled by our desire, just like other life processes. It is an obvious fact that in the absence of the will to live, death is inevitable. Lack of the will to live triggers the mechanism of death. Some do it deliberately, others are simply tired of living.

There is one interesting parable for this case. Alexander the Great asked the court sage; “How long should a person live,” and he answered: “A person should live until he considers that dying is better than living.” And it’s true, everyone chooses for themselves the line to which they want to live. As long as you have a purpose in life you will live. Look at the example of some parents, they live while their children or grandchildren need their help, but as soon as such help is no longer needed, they quickly fade away. This happens because they cannot change their priorities. They had one goal in life - their children, and when it is gone, they cannot find another, and being left without a goal, they lose the will to live and quickly die.

The code of Bushi-do, the code of honor of the Japanese samurai, is very interesting in the sense of accepting death. There is a special section called “Facing Death”. I will give only a few statements, but this will be quite enough to understand what deep meaning is hidden in this section; “True courage is to live when it is right to live, and to die when it is right to die. Clinging to life when death has come is unworthy of a true warrior. Making clear final statements is the duty of a true warrior. In everyday affairs, remember death and keep this word in your heart. When your thoughts constantly revolve around death, your life path will be straight and simple. Those who hold on to life die, and those who are not afraid of death live. Everything is decided by the spirit. If you are ready to kill, then you are ready to die. Bushi-do - The Way of the Warrior - means death. When there are two paths to choose from, choose the one that leads to death."

And so we have decided on the main psychological sign of death - this is the lack of desire to live. For the sake of symmetry, let's look at a few physical signs of death. They come in two types, distant and close, that is, those that occur immediately before death, and those that appear some time before death (from a month to six months). Distant signs include facial symmetry. In the vast majority of people, both halves of the face are not symmetrical, that is, they have slight differences. If, looking in the mirror, you notice that your face has become symmetrical, this means that it is time to prepare for the transition. Among other external signs of approaching death, one can note the disappearance of the sensation of light or color while pressing fingers on the eyelids of closed eyes on the first day of each month. If, after pressing on your eyes, you do not feel any changes in color sensations, then your Death is already close.

The same can be said regarding the sensation of the subtlest ringing or resonance in the ears - if it is no longer felt, then one should begin one’s preparation for dying. An unusually pale tip of the nose, foreshadowing death a few days before it, can also tell a knowledgeable person a lot. There are also closer signs, three of them are main: 1) a feeling of heaviness in the body - “earth in water” 2) a feeling of cold, as if the body was in water, which gradually turns into feverish heat - “water on fire” 3) a feeling , as if the body is being torn into tiny atoms - “fire in the air.” Each symptom is accompanied by external changes, such as: loss of control over the facial muscles, loss of hearing and vision, intermittent breathing before fainting. I will not describe the signs further, but if they interest you, you can turn to specialized literature; Oris’s book “The Art of Dying” is very good in this regard.

Unlike the Tibetan and Egyptian “Books of the Dead,” it is written in modern, understandable language with a minimum of Sanskrit terms and is essentially a practical reference book on “necropedia,” a kind of textbook on preparing for the experience of real, real death. A person dies only once in his life and therefore, having no experience, as a rule, dies unsuccessfully. Books about death will help you gain the necessary experience. They, of course, do not guarantee one hundred percent success, but they can help you understand the basics of the processes that happen to you during death. Knowing these processes will help you not be confused at the moment of your own death. According to all religious teachings, the moment of death is one of the most important moments in our evolution. Because it is he who determines the conditions of our further existence. It is not for nothing that in all religions, at the moment of death, the presence of a spiritual mentor is necessary to facilitate the process of death and direct the soul in the right direction. Unfortunately, modern urbanized society does not pay due attention to this process. It is rare that a confessor is called to a dying person, although not only a clergyman can act as a confessor. The confessor can also be a relative of the dying person, and this is even preferable, because such a person is more trustworthy.

Dying is a process of contact with Eternity. Pythagoras spoke in his mysteries; “Earthly birth is death, death is resurrection from a spiritual point of view.” The moment of death is no different from any other. This is another life experience that needs to be met while awake. The change of both lives is necessary for the development of the soul, where is it better to die, the answer is clear: of course, at home in the circle of family and friends. I know that the process of death is not very pleasant for others, because it reminds them of their own death. Many people try to get rid of their dying relatives by putting them in the hospital - this is absolutely wrong. Think, you, too, will have to die someday, how you would like this to happen, and draw the appropriate conclusions. And you must also remember that everyone chooses the moment to which they want to live. It happens that we all see that treatment is useless, but a person asks us to treat him. What to do in such cases, the answer is clear; if you have the opportunity, you need to treat. You may lose in material things, but you will gain infinitely much in spiritual things. It is not for us to judge a person, and if he asks for help and we have the opportunity to help, we must help, no matter how difficult it may be for us. It is also impossible to impose treatment on a person if he decides to leave - it is his right to die as he wants. I am not a supporter of euthanasia; everyone should try to fully atone for their karma, no matter how difficult it may be.

The death of the traveler Thor Heyerdahl is very indicative in this case. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he said: “I lived well, and I want to die well,” and refused treatment, although he had enough money to continue treatment. He preferred to die with dignity than to continue his existence at the cost of incredible material and moral costs. Not many in our world are capable of such a decisive step, and he did not commit suicide, he simply gave it the opportunity to fade away naturally. In this context, a few words about suicides. From an evolutionary point of view, this is absolute stupidity. You cannot avoid your karma in this way; by such actions you only postpone it for a while. In your next incarnation you will be forced to start from where you left off in your previous life. So what is the point in such a delay? Suicide is not only a manifestation of cowardice, but also a step back on the path of soul evolution.

Most of us cling to our miserable lives, with shaking hands, spending colossal material resources on this in order to extend our lives at least a little. Which you can’t even call life, so much as a worthless existence in a hospital bed. We must honestly admit that doctors are largely to blame for this; they give us unrealistic hopes, even if they see that the end is inevitable. This is the problem with all Western medicine, which treats to the last. Some unscrupulous doctors take advantage of this and extract the last pennies from the dying and their relatives. In the east a completely different concept has been adopted; there, if a doctor undertakes to treat a patient, and he dies, he is a bad doctor and they will try not to contact him again. But if a doctor refuses to treat a patient, citing the fact that he cannot help in any way and the patient will soon die, no one will condemn him, but on the contrary, he will gain respect in the eyes of his patients and their relatives. This difference in approach is based on the different understanding of the meaning of life for Eastern and Western people. Western people are more pragmatic in their perception of the material world and less spiritual, while the Eastern type, on the contrary, is more spiritual and less material. We ourselves see this very well, material progress comes from the West, the material standard of living is higher in the West than in the East. The East offers us a spiritual path of development, as opposed to material well-being. Now these two concepts of world perception are cooperating with each other, and a new concept of world perception is entering the world stage, but this is a topic for another conversation.

And so, let's look at the dying process itself in a little more detail. First: keep the room silent. All this crying and lamentation does not help the dying person, but rather distracts him. When people understand the true meaning of death, then the whole ritual of death will not have such a sad connotation; it will rather resemble a solemn farewell ceremony. After all, all this sadness and longing for the departed is due only to our ignorance of the true processes of life. The silence can only be broken by the reading of funeral prayers, and even better, instructions about death, if any. Now about the position of the dying person’s body: the crown of the dying person’s head should be symbolically directed to the east, and his arms and legs should be crossed. It is in this position of the body that the soul leaves it most easily.

The dying process itself can last from a few minutes to several hours, and you must have the patience to see it through to the end. You should think only positively about the dying person, and it is better to remember the most pleasant moments of your life together. Keep in mind that the dying person may not hear you, but he will perceive your thoughts very well. The world of the dead interacts with the world of the living, much better than we living interact with the world of the dead. Therefore, do not anger the dying, so as not to create a problem for yourself. It’s not for nothing that they say: either only good things are said about the dying, or nothing at all. Over time, the influence of the dead on the living weakens, but at the first stage it is very strong, keep this in mind. Don’t make the mistake of some who, having spent money on treating relatives, begin to publicly regret it after their death. Such hypocrisy can offend the deceased, and he can create problems for you on the spiritual plane. It is better to refuse treatment while the dying person is alive than to regret the money spent after his death. Don’t be a hypocrite, be honest with yourself and those around you, find the strength in yourself to refuse the dying person, but remember, we will all die someday, and so will you.

Now a few words about how best to die. Most want to die quickly and in their sleep. According to Vedic knowledge, death in a dream is not the best option, because it does not happen consciously and there is a very high probability of ending up in not the best conditions of your next existence. It is better to die conscious and in the presence of loved ones. It is very important for a dying person to forgive all the grievances that the survivors caused him; he should not carry the burden of grievances with him into the afterlife. The same applies to the living, forgive the dying person all the insults that he caused you, he still will not be able to correct them, and the burden of unforgiven insults will drag him to the ground for a long time, preventing him from achieving liberation. The same Vedas claim that the harder a person dies, the more karmic consequences he carries with him. If this happened to you, find the strength to go through this path to the end. Don’t try to avoid them, it’s not possible, you can only stretch out the consequences over time, but what if this makes sense? Only the righteous die quickly and beautifully, of whom there are not so many. We all have some sins to one degree or another, so don’t worry. Only great initiates can disappear in front of thousands of people, whose bodies are so cleansed of karmic consequences that they can dissolve right before their eyes like fog. We are mere mortals and will die as we deserve, but while we live we must remember that with good deeds we can deserve a more pleasant death.

Now about what is best to do with the body, cremate or bury the remains. Christian tradition prefers burial of the body in the ground, although cremation of the body is still preferable. There are many reasons for cremation, starting with the fact that it is more hygienic and takes up less space. But the most important thing is that this will allow us to very quickly enter the stage of posthumous existence due to the accelerated release of the subtle conductors of our body. With cremation, this occurs within a few hours, instead of several days when the body is buried in the ground. Which method to choose is up to you. And keep in mind all these huge monuments and marble busts of the dead are useless. As Diderot Denis said; “Rot under marble or underground, it still rots.” In ancient times, all these signs were placed on graves with only one purpose: to remind us of the dead. In our time and in our country, this takes on hypertrophied forms. Walk into a cemetery and you will see people competing to see whose monument is cooler and bigger. At the same time, forgetting about the deceased themselves and remembering them, at best, on the day of obedience. For the deceased, the main thing is our memory of them; material attributes no longer concern them. So think about it: an expensive monument is a tribute to the deceased or a tribute to your vanity: “That’s how cool I am, I can do it, but they can’t.”

Personally, I try to perceive death as a kind of transition to another plane of existence. I prepared a tombstone for myself in advance with the inscription; “Life has passed, here’s the result: I lived not as I wanted, but as I could.” By the way, it was customary in Rus' to prepare for death in advance long before Christianity appeared here. And in small villages this custom has been preserved to this day; they prepare a coffin for themselves in advance. I remember how, as a child, I was shocked by a coffin in the attic of my friend’s house in the village. The guy himself took the coffin quite calmly: “This is my grandfather,” he told me; but what struck me most of all was that his grandfather was a quite cheerful old man and had no intention of dying at all. I in no way encourage you to buy a coffin and place it in the hallway of your two-room apartment and thereby scare your friends, just be mentally prepared and that’s all.

Don't be afraid of death, it will still come to you, just prepare for it and then it won't take you by surprise. Although this is also very doubtful, because death always comes unexpectedly, even if you expect it. Let me remind you of the words of Woland from Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Master and Margarita”: “Yes, man is mortal, but that would not be so bad. The bad thing is that he is sometimes suddenly mortal, that’s the trick.” Remember: only immature souls fear death, be mature.

Each of us, sooner or later, will have to face the passing of a loved one, and this seems like a real tragedy.

But channeling invites us to look at the death of a loved one in a completely different way, moving away from existing stereotypes, sadness and pain. Let's see what happens to the soul beyond life, and how you can cope with your suffering caused by loss.

Life after life

We have already said that channelers prefer to call death life after life, since in fact only the physical body of a person disappears, and his soul is immortal and will return to this earth more than once.

We have already said that there is a limitless energy space into which all souls fall after leaving earthly life and where they remain until their next incarnation. Mentors from the Subtle Worlds call this space “home”.

The soul’s journey to “home” takes forty days, and during this time the soul remembers its life, analyzes all its good and bad deeds, and forms an idea of what its next incarnation on earth should be.

Once home, all souls go through a period of purification and rest. They transfer all the memories of their past lives into the boundless information space, and then receive a new program according to which they will live in their next incarnation.

Changing the angle of view

If in our earthly world it is customary to rejoice at the birth of a new person and be sad when he dies, then channelings look at the issue of death in a completely different way, which is quite logical, given what was said above about the immortality of the soul.

That is why the Mentors from the Subtle Worlds urge us not to give in to our grief, not to shed tears for departed loved ones, but to rejoice that they are getting “home”, where they can relax and enjoy this period of being in “non-existence”.

The sadness and pain that we experience when someone close and dear to us passes away, be it a parent, relative, spouse, child or friend, slows down the movement of the soul that has left the physical world towards the light. The more we cry and feel sad for the dead, the more difficult it is for the latter to leave us and the slower they move towards their true “home”.

How to say goodbye properly

During the first forty days from the moment of death, the soul still feels a connection with this world: it visits places where it loved to be during life, and says goodbye to its loved ones, so the latter can feel the presence of the deceased person nearby.

If you want to convey your love to your deceased loved one or ask for forgiveness for something, you can do it during this period. His soul will definitely hear it.

Of course, we cannot help but be sad and cry for those who leave us - such is our human nature. But it is better, if possible, not to indulge in these emotions after the end of forty days. Thank the person for what they have done for you, convey your love and apologies for anything if there are any, and release their soul as it is time for it to move on.

Don’t worry about those who have left, because great love, warmth and light await them “at home”.

All these feelings surround the soul when it arrives at its true destination, and it is in them that it remains until its next earthly incarnation. There is no sadness, sadness, aggression, resentment or anger - everything is filled with true all-consuming love.

Will the soul of the deceased remember you?

Information does not disappear even after death. When the soul leaves this world, it takes with it all its experiences and memories. When she gets “home”, she transfers these memories of her existence into the energetic space, where they remain forever.

When you remember a departed loved one with pleasant words and rejoice that he was in your life, the memories of his life stored in the energy space become brighter. If no one remembers the person, they fade, but never disappear completely.

Each soul leaves memories of its past life “at home,” but a piece of them remains forever inside it, and will be present there in subsequent incarnations. And you can even recognize each other again if you meet in the next incarnation. This is precisely what explains the feeling of closeness that suddenly arises towards a person you barely know.

Kindred souls, who were connected by many things in one of their incarnations, will certainly meet in another - this always happens. You can be sure that your loved ones will remain with you forever, and you will be able to communicate with them again in another life.

Sometimes close souls also meet in an energetic space called “home.” This happens when people leave this world with a short period of time, or when one soul leaves earlier, but does not yet have time to take on the next physical incarnation, and its soul mate arrives home while the first one is still there.

Therefore, you should not be sad about the dead, because one way or another you will definitely meet and be able to communicate. Channeling advises to perceive the death of a loved one as a temporary separation from those we love. The main thing is to accept and realize the fact of the immortality of our souls.

Treatises of ancient civilizations have been written about the immortality of the soul, about its exit from an immobilized dead body, myths and canonical religious teachings have been composed, but we would also like to receive evidence using the methods of exact sciences. It seems that the St. Petersburg scientist managed to achieve this. If his experimental data and the hypothesis built on their basis about the exit of the subtle body from the deceased physical body are confirmed by the research of other scientists, religion and science will finally agree that human life does not end with the last exhalation.

Konstantin Georgievich, what you did is both incredible and natural at the same time. Every reasonable person, to one degree or another, believes or at least secretly hopes that his soul is immortal. “Only those who have never seriously thought about death do not believe in the immortality of the soul,” wrote Leo Tolstoy.” However, science, which has replaced God for half of humanity, does not seem to give reason for optimism. So the long-awaited breakthrough has been made: the light of eternal life has dawned before us at the end of the tunnel, which no one can escape?
- I would refrain from making such categorical statements. The experiments I conducted are rather a reason for other researchers to use precise methods to find the threshold between the earthly existence of a person and the afterlife of the soul. How one-sided is the transition across this threshold? At what point is it still possible to return? - the question is not only theoretical and philosophical, but also key in the daily practice of resuscitators: it is extremely important for them to obtain a clear criterion for the body’s transition beyond the threshold of earthly existence.

You dared to set the goal of your experiments to answer a question that had previously puzzled only theosophists, esotericists and mystics. What arsenal of modern science allowed you to pose the problem in this form?
- My experiments became possible thanks to a method created in Russia more than a century ago. It was forgotten, and in the 20s it was revived again by the inventors from Krasnodar, the Kirlian spouses. In a high-intensity electromagnetic field around a living object, be it a green leaf or a finger, a radiant glow appears. Moreover, the characteristics of this glow directly depend on the energy state of the object. Around the finger of a healthy, cheerful person, the glow is bright and even. Any disorders of the body - which is fundamentally important, not only those already identified, but also future ones that have not yet manifested themselves in organs and systems - break the luminous halo, deform it and make it dimmer. A special diagnostic direction in medicine has already been formed and recognized, which makes it possible to draw current conclusions about upcoming diseases based on inhomogeneities, cavities and darkening in a Kirlian image. The German doctor P. Mandel, having processed enormous statistical material, even created an atlas in which certain errors in the state of the body correspond to various features of the glow.
So, twenty years of working with the Kirlian effect pushed me to the idea of seeing how the glow around living matter changes as it becomes inanimate.

Did you, like Academician Pavlov, who dictated a diary of his own death to his students, photograph the process of dying?
- No, I did something different: I began to study the bodies of recently deceased people using Kirlian photographs. An hour to three hours after death, the motionless hand of the deceased was photographed hourly in a gas-discharge flash. The images were then processed on a computer to determine changes in the parameters of interest over time. Filming of each object took from three to five days. The ages of the deceased men and women ranged from 19 to 70 years, and their manner of death was different.
And this, no matter how strange it may seem to some, was reflected in the photographs.
The set of obtained gas-discharge curves was naturally divided into three groups:

    a) relatively small amplitude of oscillations of the curves;
    b) also a small amplitude, but there is one well-defined peak;
    c) large amplitude of very long oscillations.
These differences are purely physical, and I would not mention them to you if the changes in parameters were not so clearly linked to the nature of the death of those photographed. And thanatologists - researchers of the process of dying of living organisms - have never had such a relationship before.
Here's how the deaths of people from the three groups mentioned above differed:
    a) “calm”, natural death of a senile organism that has exhausted its life resource;
    b) “abrupt” death - also natural, but still accidental: as a result of an accident, blood clot, traumatic brain injury, or help not arriving in time;
    c) “unexpected” death, sudden, tragic, which, had circumstances been happier, could have been avoided; Suicides also belong to this group.
Here it is, completely new material for science: the nature of death is literally displayed on the instruments.
The most striking thing about the results obtained is that oscillatory processes, in which rises alternate with declines over several hours, are characteristic of objects with active life activity. And I photographed the dead... This means that there is no fundamental difference between the dead and the living when Kirlian photography is done! But then death itself is not a break, not an instant event, but a gradual process, a slow transition.

- And how long does this transition last?
- The fact of the matter is that the duration in different groups is also different:

    a) “calm” death revealed in my experiments fluctuations in glow parameters over a period of 16 to 55 hours;
    b) “sharp” death leads to a visible jump either after 8 hours or at the end of the first day, and two days after death the fluctuations converge to the background level;
    c) with “unexpected” death, the oscillations are the strongest and longest, their amplitude decreases from the beginning to the end of the experiment, the glow dims at the end of the first day and especially sharply at the end of the second; in addition, every evening after nine and until approximately two or three o'clock in the morning, bursts of glow intensity are observed.

- Well, it’s just some kind of scientific and mystical thriller: at night the dead come to life!
- Legends and customs associated with the dead are receiving unexpected experimental confirmation.
Who would know what it is abroad - a day after death, two days? But since these intervals are readable on my diagrams, it means that something corresponds to them.

- Have you somehow identified nine and forty days after death - especially significant intervals in Christianity?
- I did not have the opportunity to conduct such long-term experiments. But I am convinced that the period from three to 49 days after death is a crucial period for the soul of the deceased, marked by its separation from the body. Either she is traveling at this time between two worlds, or the Higher Mind is deciding her future fate, or the soul is going through circles of ordeal - different faiths describe different nuances of the same, apparently, process, which is reflected on our computers.

- So, the afterlife of the soul has been scientifically proven?
- Do not misunderstand me. I obtained experimental data, used metrologically proven equipment, standardized methods, data processing was carried out at different stages by different operators, I took care of evidence of the absence of influence of meteorological conditions on the operation of the instruments... That is, I did everything possible for a conscientious experimenter to ensure that the results were as accurate as possible. objective. Remaining within the framework of the Western scientific paradigm, I, in principle, must avoid mentioning the soul or the separation of the astral body from the physical; these are concepts organic to the occult and mystical teachings of Eastern science. And although, as we remember, “West is West, and East is East, and they cannot come together,” they converge in my research. If we talk about scientific proof of the afterlife, we will inevitably have to clarify whether we mean Western or Eastern science.

- Maybe just such research is called upon to unite the two sciences?
“We have the right to hope that this will happen in the end.” Moreover, the ancient treatises of mankind on the transition from life to death are fundamentally the same among all traditional religions.
Since the living body and the body of the recently deceased are very similar in the characteristics of the gas-discharge glow, it is not entirely clear what death is. At the same time, I specifically conducted a series of similar experiments with meat - both fresh and frozen. No fluctuations in the glow of these objects were noted. It turns out that the body of a person who died a few hours or days ago is much closer to a living body than to meat. Tell this to the pathologist - I think he will be surprised.
As you can see, the energy-information structure of a person is no less real than his material body. These two hypostases are connected with each other during a person’s life and break this connection after death not immediately, but gradually, according to certain laws. And if we recognize a motionless body with stopped breathing and heartbeat, a non-functioning brain as dead, this does not at all mean that the astral body is dead.
Moreover, the separation of the astral and physical bodies can somewhat separate them in space.
